8-3
6-5
6-5

Over the next three years. What would the answer be. This is a theoretical question and I know that is not twelve games so just play along.

Impossible! We play 12 games a year.

if he goes 6-5 in '10-'11 he'll be gone. He's recruited so much talent the expectations those years will be sky high.

People are already circling 2010 as the next big run for this team.

So Scoop what if Saban went

8-4 and followed that one up with an 7-5? Would a 12-1 season save him?

I will answer you later in the thread. I think he would be ok but we will talk about it later, I am trying to prove a point.

Yes, and those are the correct years. Then he won the SEC championship every year after that from 71-79 and 3 NC's. I think the way football is today coach Bryant would have been fired during those years.

AT 3.75M, I think LM would be in trouble. Same with Meyer, Richt and Saban if they had the same records.

Indeed!

Contingent of course on CLM coming through with a good DC hire, which I do believe he will.

so he has to be in the SECCG at least half the time?

that's pretty lofty expectations.

Pretty surprised. You normally make intelligent posts. I think we all know what would happen in that scenario.
