3. Is Jarrett Lee the illegitimate son of either Crowton or Miles?
You're not right. Please seek help.

JJ won the spot on the playing field.
2 games....1-1 record, wow.
that was easy enough.

Lee is scared of contact.
The hit that he took on the TD pass to mitchell vs. auburn really rattled him. He went downhill after that.
That is also why you never saw him even get close to tackling any of those guys who intrcepted his passes. He stayed far, far away from anybody who could lay a block on him.
And the rest of the team knows this too.

Ha, what did I say to make you think that? Oh wait, the truth? My bad.
I probably should be asking you the same thing.

so how do you explain ark 2nd half?
I saw JJ throw some ill-advised passes in the 2nd half against GT, double coverage, overthrown, underthrown balls, fumbled, runs too quick at times outa pocket.
YOu should either re-watch game, or really reconsider who you call a moron.
You "knowing" who's gonna start next year is you opoinion, and to think either wont or cant improve for next seaon shows who the real fuking idiot is.
2nd half play calling @ Arky was an embarrassment. Also, putting up 30 on them should have bee WAAAAY enough.
Also, you banging on JJ vs GT shows you're either just starting shite or have a very biased outlook on our QB, chief.

Didn't we put up 38 against GA?

spec, it only applies to JJ.
nothing JL did matters expect thorwing pick 6's.
and everybody knows once you throw some, then you'll always throw them.
JL should just give up football.

Lee must be impressive in practice when he's wearing the green jersey. He showed he can't handle pressure or contact in the game. If he beats out JJ, he needs to learn how to tackle so he can stop the defense from scoring.

i'm going out on a limb here and saying he's pretty biased to having a white QB starting...
Posted on 1/16/09 at 12:35 pm to Tigerdew
btw, re 2nd half playcalling vs. ark and georgia tech, did you notice what happened to Keiland Williams?
First Half at arkansas - 7 carries, 46 yards, 6.6 yards per carry.
Second Half - Zero carries
First Half vs georgia tech - 5 carries, 42 yards, 8.4 yards per carry, 1 touchdown.

BIG DIFFERENCE specs1,
vs Georgia we were down, 38-17 at one point in the 3rd quarter. Only to start the 4th quarter down 45-24.
vs Arkansas we were up 30-14 at one point in the 3rd quarter...with the lead till the last play.
When JJ starts we come out and jump on top of teams with a 2 touchdown lead to start the game. When Lee starts its the opposite.

So you have an opinion on whether a 19-20 year old kid should give up a game he obviously loves based on a few bumps in the road?
You must not have very much else going on in your life.
Oh and you may want to look at all of Lee's stats. Had he not been hurt he would have owned every passing record for LSU freshman. Also, J Lee was 4-3 in games he started and finished. He entered the Auburn game as sub and was primarily responsible for that come back. He led the largest comeback in the history of Tiger football against Troy. He led the comeback against South Carolina. Oh, and if the perfectly thrown touchdown pass in the Alabama game had been caught we're not even having this conversation. One more qick stat-Prior to Lee's injury he was rated as the 4th best freshman starter in FBS college football.
I'll be supporting whomever Les trots out to take the snaps.

could we agree that the games JL started (and i can list them if youd like) were a tad bit more meaningful/pressure filled/important than a 3-8 ark team and a peach bowl game against mighty GT?

BIG DIFFERENCE specs1,
Well it was 7-7 mid way through the 1st quarter when Staffor began 7 on 7 drills against our D. He was unstoppable by our D.
The major problem this year that exaccerbated every other problem was the inability of our defense to stop anyone at any time. And for the record, Troy started their 3rd string QB.
Now for the bright side: I believe Chavis will solve the defensive problems from last year. Regardless of whom may play QB, this will be the most important turn around!
