I've been a fan of Terry's since childhood, LA boy done good! Four Superbowl rings! Where did he grow up? Was he that great in HS. I know he had a great defense, and Swann and Stallworth, but he still had to get the ball to them.

Also Johnny Booty, originator of the clan of QB's.

Terry B. also went to Oak Terrace Jr High.

So Terry grew up in Shreveport? I thought he was a country boy! I love his sense of humor. Nothing like self depricating humor.

He played for St. Aug, but they ran him off because he could not master the electric slide.

Terry's brother, Craig Bradshaw, went to Southwood (my alma mater) and graduated from there in 1975 as well as Stan Humphries. Lots of quarterbacks have come out of Shreveport.

i used to play pickup basketball against terry's brother mark at some church in west shreveport. he was huge and a jerk...another southwood qb that was very good was ches liles from 85-88. quick release and quite the strong arm. lost to barbe...well, lost to butch monticello who won the game by himself.

Terry Bradshaw was also a stud in track & field as he set many records which stood for many years and a few were only recently broken.

Woodlawn Shreveport has really gone down the toilet. Weird to see it when schools like Byrd and Captain Shreve are doing fairly well. At least in EBR all public schools are equally terrible.

Was he a stud at Woodlawn? He said on the Sugarbowl show that he signed with LSU, but did'nt qualify. Any truth to that?

How could we forget Trey Prather who played at Woodlawn before Bradshaw and and enrolled at LSU
and Played QB his freshman year and after the season was over Trey joined the Marines and went off to Viet Nam and got blown up by a land mine. Trey volenteered for a mission and was killed in action. Although Trey would not have called himself a hero I thing he was a true American Hero.

Absolutely. And yes it's true he did not qualify for LSU but reasons behind his score are conflicted. I've heard things saying he didn't really want to go to LSU but as THE stud QB in Louisiana he felt pressured so he tanked the ACT on purpose and enrolled at La Tech.
