Ohio state versus LSU for the title this year would be a awesome story to tell. I can see this happening

You can't shut down the Big-Program* Spread offenses. You can only out-score them.

*And even the smaller program Spreads will score some on you

[and Tua was hurt in the '18 Natty game]

Don't write a novel on this board, baw. Ain't nobody got time for that.

What I've learned:

The bottom half of the SEC is garbage - really bad

It seems like top college offenses have evolved faster than the defenses. These point and yards are obscene. Most of these offenses take their foot off the gas, so it's even worse than it is.

Auburn/Florida in the swamp next week looks very, very interesting. I hope it's a bruising, physical game

You can count on that.

Offense, outside of protection and clearing holes, is very good.

Our pass protection is not very good? It looks great to me.

They didn't need the failed 2 point conversion to win. An extra point in that place and they play on in a tie.

If the two point conversion was successful they lose. They needed it to fail in order to win.

Just based on eye test through 5 weeks

Bama/LSU/OU/Ohio St have all won st ease and dominated

Clemson and UGA have looked good but haven’t clicked yet

Bama
LSU
OU
Ohio St
Clemson
UGA

Is how I’d rank them

Speaking of Clemson....meh. Alabama...meh. Ohio State?...maybe. Oklahoma?...please.

bullshite.
Clemson had a bad game but shows signs of being overrated. Still very talented.
Alabama.. strong as ever but defense is playing a lot of younger guys. Still formidable.
You're ignorant if you don't think OU is loaded. Hurts is an experienced, confident, talented qb.
AU is for real and Florida's D is stout as always. They are playing better with Trask.

We have a long way to go before we can claim we are contenders. The next 4 weeks will define our season.

Bottom line is this. Defense is going to improve

Have we really played a team with a great defense. Our defense has been exposed to some good offenses but none of the 4 teams we have played have elite defenses. Same thing can be said for the very good Bama team.

A lot of football coming up with Florida, Auburn, Bama and A&M the teams left on our schedule with the highest ratings. None of the games are are a gimmie

lol @ Jimbo Fisher.

Same for Les Miles. I now pull hard for him to lose because I've always despised his arrogant attitude and his shitty coaching.

Dabo almost got Clemson'd. Too bad it didn't happen.

Michigan & Shea Patterson are back baby...lol

Ohio St. hasn't played anyone yet, and why does Scott Frost get so much praise for having done nothing yet at Nebraska?

Is Mike Leach still the "it" coach after 2 bad games in a row? I don't think so.

Auburn & Bama are really good.

Utah St. ain't bad, so I guess LSU will lose another 8 to 13 players to injury.

We were reminded that the permanent opponent BS gives Alabama a huge advantage over LSU and tBarn every year. It needs to GTFO
