I don't know the answer to it, but in all of my years following LSU, I don't ever remember bieng particularly impressed with our downfield game....

Yes, sir, Red! I agree, but Miles had to know he was not gonna run against Alabama, at some point it has to kick in that I have to throw the ball, but he didn't, he stubbornly tried to continue to run against them. Mettenberg is not JJ or Lee, he is a pure thrower and yet you still have this kid throwing stuff that Jefferson or Lee could do. I don't get it!

Down field passing is Miles' second passion in life but that'd interfere with his main passion which is pissing of retards like tubucoco.

LSU won as many games as the Aints last year with a shorter schedule and no bounties. Down field passes didn't get the Aints into the big game.

LSU doesn't have to be the Saints, just a semblance of some form of downfield passing is all that is required to get by.
