the more likely scenario would have been JJ drops back and is sacked, knocking us out of FG range.

look, the guy spoke up and was proven to be correct. maybe he didn't elaborate his motives very well, but so what.

the kid is a fricking Sophmore.. are some of you fricking serious? .. this is exactly the type of comment i would expect from a kid playing only his second year of collegiate football and anyone expecting different knows absolutely nothing about the sport

I refuse to speculate on the reasons for their vehement dislike of JJ but it's not hard to imagine what it might be.

I certainly admire JL's determination to fight through the awful situation he ended up in last year ... never more than when he stuck to it and engineered that comeback starting very late in the 3rd and throughout the 4th quarter against North Texas after an utterly miserable game up to that point.

I swear to god, do some of y'all pay any attention to the games we play? That was Troy, not North Texas.

Okay, well I apologize if previously posted, but I am in a hotel room in Atlanta and haven't been on the computer all day or morning, am slightly disoriented after 17 hours of drinking, and failed to search.

Don't apologize. There is nothing more irritating than people on this board hopping all over you because you aren't glued to your computer 24/7 and don't know that a particular top had been mentioned 25 minutes (translated -- 2 pages) ago.

Hope you had fun.

Its called the qb is in the game and has a feel for what defense is doing and all qb's do this.

Exactly. That is why JJ should be making the audible calls instead of the coaches from the sideline. The lining up and having him look to the sideline stifles the offense in my opinion. JJ is on the field and in position to have a much better feel for what the defense is doing and the mindset of his offensive teammates.
