All i see is regression/injuries/non development of supposedly talented pitchers.

But he’s the best around

Better question is what do we pay our hitting coach for. Oh that’s right we don’t pay one.

It’s weird. Walker, Hess and Hilliard all looked like they had bright futures as freshmen.
Inconsistent as hell.

Walker had to have Tommy John Surgery, Hess had to be used as a starter, and the scouting report was out on Hilliard after last year so teams knew him and his stuff better

We are paying him to suck. He needs his walking papers at the end of the season. Hire a young upcoming pitching coach who also recruits, move Nolan Cain to player personnel, tell Ochinko to hit the road and hire a real hitting coach. So basically Paul needs to rework his entire coaching staff.

It’s not excuses, it’s facts. Injuries have killed a lot of plans for this team

Were you on the preseason #1 bandwagon? If not, you and me might be the only ones.

Everything he touches turns to shite.

I've been saying this for a couple years now. Somebody name me one guy he's developed? I mean a guy who didn't already come in hot. I'm talking about a guy who was relatively unknown that worked with him and got progressively better through his career at LSU. And if you name one or two players then you just proved my point. He's been here 8 years and how many pitchers are on staff each year?

Everybody that's been with him has either stayed relatively the same or got worse through 3 or 4 years. Never mind all the injuries.

So, with your philosophy, these freshman pitchers MSU has won't be worth a crap next year, huh? Good to know we won't have to worry about them!

Sorry, TigerBR, I copied there won't text. Fixed it.

Honestly I wasn’t. I didn’t understand why so many people thought the same team from last year was going to be so good. Same with all of these people on here comparing this years team to the 2009 team. I just did not understand it.

No because I don’t consider SC too end competition. It’s bad that this team as it currently is, doesn’t look like it belongs in the same field as state or vandy
