What do the SEC bylaws say about removing a member institution?

There has to be some mechanism for removal,,but I find it hard to believe that it is as simple as we call a vote and a school is gone three days later in the middle of a season.


This should be a months if not years long process with notice, investigations, hearings, and full transparency.

LSU not playing this season would cost the state and thousands of employees untold amounts of money. There is no way they can do this without some sort of due process.


frick the SEC, I want to leave. But signing a deal with Netflix or whatever network won’t give immediate relief. We will miss an entire season and likely lose our entire roster and all of the momentum we have right now.

The entire media apparatus will spend a year talking about how toxic we are and how evil Kiffin is.


We will never recover if these 15 fricking criminals arbitrarily decide that they are so scared of Kiffin at LSU that they are willing to destroy the fate of the entire symbiotic support system that exists around LSU.

I have a feeling Kiffin is going to be offered up as a sacrifice to appease these criminals and it makes me sick to my stomach.


Someone who can find it please enlighten us on what the bylaws say about expulsion.
