they also had the fortune of some good, if not great luck. which the 2013/2015 teams did not have

The 09 team would've been undefeated in the 90's format. They dropped the second game to Texas.

for one, they were unlucky that N.C. State didn't beat TCU in the regional when they had the chance. that's all I got.
