My take:
Offense was very Miles like..run and run some more.
Harris made some good passes but few and far between.
Played even more vanilla in the second half.
Penalties made the game closer than it should have been.
Fournette is a beast!
How good could this team be with a good offensive coordinator?

One thing I took away is that LSU is a very talented team, and Fournette may be the best in all of college football. If Miles will just be a little less conservative on offense, this team should be in the playoffs.

We won... on the road, vs quality SEC opponent, in our first game. Awesome.
The vocal minority of our fan base continues to sink further and further into the depths of self hate and absurdity. I really wish they would find another team to "cheer" for.

Good 1st game of the year. If we would have play last week play calling would have been different, but we didn't. Harris did not make mistakes to lose the game. LF will be the horse to ride. Better defense and we did get pressure on the QB. Ala in all good 1st game of the year.

Pros:
-We won
-D looked good for 3 quarters
-Fournette/Harris ran well

Cons:
-D looked suspect against short passes/ west coast offense and gave up scores late in the game (sound familiar?).
-Same ole play not to lose philosophy

Irrelevant. Doesnt matter who the OC is, was, or will be. Miles is the OC no matter what and its the same boring shite year after year.

Les has his inner Bo Schembechler foot on Cam's throat. After 11 years of this shite, how is that not evident?

It is very evident. I think some people just don't want to see it.

The first quarter Tigers looked badass. Then something changed. That is what I got from it.
