Yes, GREAT idea! Have Lee get blown up trying to make a tackle and then we have a freshman QB to finish the season. BRILLIANT.

You must be kidding. The kid is a redshirt freshman and you have decided that he won't be successful? He's 19...give him some time to develop. It doesn't happen overnight.
I mean for Christ's sake, he's thrown 14 touchdowns this season.

If this happened in the beginning of the year, I'd agree its lack of leadership, but this was after the 9th game of the year, and the kid not only cost his team the game, but claimed if he hits that pass, HE wins the game. Lee deserved criticism after the Bama game. The WHOLE team outside of LEE kept the team in the game, and he continually gave it away to Bama.
I'd be pissed too if I saw nothing change after 9 games.

It is one thing to do this behind closed doors. It is another to do it so openly as to show up your quarterback, who is a 19 year old kid trying to learn the game and who needs people to help build up his confidence.

Byrd got defensive when Les came out and put that pick on him. Any competitor would be miffed by that.

Another BRILLIANT observation!
You are correct, nothing has changed over the last 9 games. Receivers (Jrs and SRs) are still dropping passes. Linebackers are STILL can't cover back out of the backfield, the D-line is still not getting pressure on the QB, the O-line is not blowing inferior D-lines off the ball ...... Yep, Lee is entire DEFINITELY the problem.

Les didn't throw Lee under the bus against UGA like you claim. He said you can't make those throws. If he shouldn't have done that like many claim, then he shouldn't have called out Byrd.
he pretty much said you can't win when our QB plays like Lee did. Lee came out after the Bama game and took responsibility for the loss. miles didn't throw byrd under the bus

His body language last night indicated he wasn't really wanting to compete at all...but I guess you could say that about most of the team, especially in the first half.

The coach put the pick on the receiver. His comments made it seem like it was a perfectly thrown ball. Byrd had to do a 360 in traffic before being lit up by a 6'5 240 lb all sec linebacker in mcclain. Oh well. They are all tigers and all this negativity should cease after the team spirit and fight displayed last night.

Did the ball not hit D Byrd's hands not once, but twice. He had two opportunities to catch that ball. He should have caught it before he got hit.

The only problem I have is players running their mouth. There is NO room for that. The coach can say w/e he wants imo. But the players need to keep that to themselves...it does nothing but hurt the team.

Byrd made an amazing adjustment to even get his hands on the ball. It was a horrible pass well behind him and he couldn't reel it in. Fact is that INT is on LEE throwing into triple coverage and it wouldn't have netted the first down anyway.
Yes, I can expect some improvement, but Lee has shown he doesn't improve. The only reason we didn't lose last night was that Troy dropped 4 INTs in their hands thrown by Lee. Any BCS school would've likely made 2 out of those 4 INTs count against the Tigers. These 4 near picks were during our comeback not in the first 40 minutes.

He's impossible to hate.
I did see him blow a gasket onthe sideline-don't know why ?
