nobody hates him.

To me, it looked like he wasn't running his hardest on the deep route and he completely missed a block in the 4th quarter on a qb draw

I love him, he is just showing too much frustration out there...It looks like TO doing his thing

Not good for the team, fans or anyone watching

It's called selfishness!

He is thinking about himself and what he isn't getting to make him look good, versus doing his role each and every play, and being someone who is encouraging

He has great talent, and just Like Dwayne Bowe, he almost lost his chance to go big in the NFL..

JR and Bowe held each other accountable to be their best

He didn't do anything other than hold his QB accountable. Literally that was it. People think the QB should be babied. I am sorry, Lee has sucked. 2 good halves 8 weeks apart don't make him worth a shite. He's sucked, and the coaches haven't held him accountable, and instead blamed other players. So Byrd reacted.

Nobody hates him, it's just with him being a senior, you would think that he would be more of a leader on the offensive side of the ball. Instead you see him visibly frustrated, arguing with coaches, and most importantly, missing TD passes. I think he hasn't played close to his potential this season. I don't hate the guy, just needs to quit wining and play football.

Kind of hard to reach your potential when the QB play has been totally horrific.

where the frick have you been?

a couple of weeks ago there were threads saying that Miles was throwing Lee under the bus.

We get the fact that you don't like Lee. You've said it 100x but you are a hypocrite. You want Lee to be held accountable for everything. the receivers have not helped Lee out this year. Byrd should not be missing that block in the 4th quarter, and it looked like lack of effort to me. Our receivers have a history of being great blockers, and byrd should pride himself on being one like Clayton, Bowe, Davis, Doucet, and Lafell do

Then talk the guy up and have a more positive attitude...then positive things will start to happen.

Lee is going to struggle at times because he's a RS Frosh, but you have to catch balls when they are catchable (i.e. the bomb last night and the 1st Bama interception that hit him in the hands).

no, he didn't. he missed at least 3 easy blocks including the one on Jefferson's QB draw in the redzone. It cost us a touchdown

Senior leadership doesn't whine or moap or complain..it leads, it helps, it tries to build confidence. And it especially doesn't give off negative body language that shows up your quarterback.

he called out the qb. Simply stated what everyone was seeing. It is quite laughable. People faulted him for not catching a poorly thrown ball in triple coverage before getting his head knocked off, and they cry when you fault lee FOR 7 F*&Cin pick sixes.

All Players miss plays. It happens to even the best. Lee has continually made mistakes that show he doesn't have what it takes. Les didn't throw Lee under the bus against UGA like you claim. He said you can't make those throws. If he shouldn't have done that like many claim, then he shouldn't have called out Byrd.

My point is the double standard. People let Lee make 100 mistakes, but Byrd makes 1 and he's chastised. I have nothing personal against Lee, I just think he doesn't get it. He plays stupid like many people claimed JR was when he was an amazingly smart QB. Lee is not. Lee is not improving. I am aware he may be our best option, but he has to be held accountable by the coaches and his teammates.

People bitch about Byrd missing a block or not going all out, but how about Lee actually try and make a tackle after one of his 15 bone head INTs. He has yet to do that AT ALL!

Did the ball not hit him in both of his hands? And don't give me this, "he got hit hard and that's why he didn't catch it". He should have caught it before he got hit by McClain.
