Redshirt Sophomores and Juniors who won't be first round draft picks need to stay at LSU. You hear that Travin, Vidal and Danielle.

We have to find a qb now....if harris couldn't beat out Jennings then he is a project period. Must have a qb now our next two years we have the talent to compete for a playoff spot.

If the offensive staff is moving to the spread or some sort of hybrid, they need to complete the project during bowl prep and run it full out in the bowl game and from then on. There is certainly plenty of evidence that it's happening.

1. The O Line switching to zone blocking.
2. Exclusively recruiting dual threat QBs.
3. The play calling in the second half vs Wisconsin and the whole A&M game. More QB runs. More read option. End arounds taking advantage of speed at WR. Running out of the pistol and the gun. QB roll outs to pass and run.

We saw Jennings at his most effective and looking more comfortable in these two instances. This scheme should play to Harris' strengths, as well. I'm sure we will still see plenty of I, and that is fine as long as we stay balanced, like in the A&M game.

LSU has always had these plays, we are only seeing them because of our QB passing !

Les Miles has got to let his qb play. We have to take the training wheels offs of the offense. The embarrassment of kicking a field goal on 2nd down with 12 seconds left should say it all. Les coaches every game scared of his qb. He's done it ever since 2008 (2013 we still finished in the bottom of the nation in passing attempts). You simply can not win championships by trying to bulldoze everyone. There has to be some variety in the offense.

I agree that this is more than anything else THE change that needs to be made. Otherwise, we need an exit strategy.

show an ability and/or willingness to adapt the offensive scheme to fit our personnel and our opponent. See: A&M game. Don't see: Arkansas game

this, more imagination, less predictable

Only things that need to be changed are a new Special Teams coach and Les Miles being open to change in the offensive scheme and giving Cameron 100% control.

QB & WR play gets an upgrade to 2003/2007 level (which was not great by any means) and this is a national title contending team.

Because JL throwing picks would have helped us win

We were going down in flames - you have to try something to spark the offense. Doing the same shite clearly wasn't going to win us the game.

Whether we lose 21-0, 28-0, or 35-0, it doesn't matter. TRY SOMETHING TO WIN THE GAME!!

I'm not saying Gruden, Saban, etc... But LsU would not have a shortage of interest.

gruden is not what everyone thinks he is. and it's not just "interest" that gets a coach. availability is HUGE. every top school I've seen looking for a coach really don't have that many to select from. the "happy" coaches turn the love into a raise and contract extension. bama went through several turn downs before they lured saban and the Miami owner let saban leave.

w/o question this is critical. damnit, we need a qb that can run different plays. we saw a glimmer of hope against a&m but we need a lot more to win the west.

Stop giving LM raises in fear of him leaving and start giving him incentives, like Top 10 Offense in NCAAF $1million, Top 10 Offense and Defense $2million. NC=$4.3 million. 8-4 year with Houston Bowl=$1million.

Pay for future performance, not back pay for being the most winningest coach in LSU history. I mean he did get paid for those years too right.

THAT is the problem,
we try to force our talent to do what they are not good at doing, instead of the other way around...which is what good coaches do.

I have said this for years..
...too many live off their PAST success and do not earn this year's pay.
