You will find out at 2 if you will be happy or REALLY pissed off. If for some reason the CFP doesn’t place LSU, the SEC will and I don’t like that at all. According to the paper today, the SEC consults with the university (think cheap travel - hotels, no flights, etc and ticket sales - large alumni base, etc.) and decides which bowl game is the best fit for a team. Considering LSU has gone to the Citrus the last couple years, it is likely out with UK in because of being in the east or TAMU because of travel and finishing ahead of LSU. - yes I know they were tied but they did win the head to head.
IF LSU isn’t a NY6 selection, I have a terrible feeling they are going to get screwed by the league. It could even be as bad as the Texas Bowl.
