Agreed, coach Wade I think is teaching the correct things and saying the correct things. But it needs to get from the practice floor to the court. ND is good but we were definitely part of the problem. It was waaaaaay too easy for ND.

IMO they got shook when Sampson went down. Would Sampson have single-handedly kept ND from running wild? No, but it might have looked better than what we got served to us. Now they've had a night to digest what happened. Hopefully, the "new look" Tigers take the floor tonight.

I hope that's not the case, we need more toughness is that is.

IMHO we maybe lose by 30 instead of 40 with Samson. There was too much else bad going on, fundamental stuff that gave me nightmares of last year.

I have no doubt WW is a much better coach than CJJ and I do think he has and will hold kids much more accountable and over time that is wort a whole heck of a lot.

But last night tells me it's not getting from the easel and lockeroom as consistently as he'd like it and that's the challenge. I frankly expect them to answer that challenge tonight and will be surprised if they do not.

Just win.

A third place finish in this tipoff tourney would be solid.

Just play our game, trying to match 3s with ND is what did us in. Reath had 3 touches and scored 3 times then didn’t touch the ball for about 10 minutes because Mays and the other were jacking up contested jumpers and 3s trying to go shot for shot. Against Michigan we were in the bonus early both halves and were attacking the rim. Waters, 14 and Rachel have to look for their offense and we need to take care of the ball. We have to be better on the glass too ND got every 50/50 ball last night. I’m confident Wade will get it fixed and we’ll be much better tnite.

Reduce the one and done shots on the offensive end so quickly. Use the shot clock to run the offense effectively and reduce the turnovers. Continue to hustle! Geaux Tigers.

Just a vibe I got from watching the other four's immediate reaction when Sampson went down. Hope I'm wrong too, quite honestly.

And consistency is one of many markers along the road to success. Wade is building this team from the bottom, as you know. He was quoted as saying "we turned a page", but that was just one page in a book with many pages. As you say, he's a much better coach, he wants these kids to succeed, and I have no reason not to believe that Wade will guide LSU back to March glory, though it may take longer than many want.

I’d like to see this team pass the ball around on offense and find the open man for the open shot... I’d like to see guys crashing the boards on offense & defense rather than standing around at the top of the key and in the corners .. aggressive play like they played Michigan...I had too many flashbacks of the JJ basketball era last nite.... it’s a rebuilding process and I’m sure Will Wade will have them going in the right direction.... LSU will return back to basketball notoriety.....give it time....
