the LSU Notre Dame game in 70 was broadcast back to LSU before a jam packed raucous crowd in the old gym armory. We lost 3-0 and i was a very upset kid

Art was into Karate and Bruce Lee, He would have been a MMA world Champ ! He didn't just fight when he drank ! He LOVED to fight ALL the time, and he was GREAT at it ! He was really nuts !

We did play Boston College at home in 1953 and Maryland and Villanova in 1951. But yes, otherwise our non-SEC games were generally against teams from around the South (or Texas, depending on whether you want to call that South or Southwest).
