No idea who has. Serious question.
Clay Parker?
Mark Guthrie?
ETA: don't think Guthrie played 4Ys here. Parker may have but I haven't confirmed.

The population of 4 year guys in general that have made it to the majors is small. We don’t have a ton to choose from. Austin Nola, abbreviated as his time in the majors may have been, is definitely in the conversation.

For the most part, there was a reason they were in college four years. They weren’t highly regarded enough to be drafted high. Not just us, but it’s hard to think of many at all.

Jeff Reboulet was a senior but started JUCO.

The most successful one I can think of recently is Matt Carpenter, who was actually a 5th year guy from TCU.
I was trying to think of some redshirt junior pitchers because injury would have kept them in college rather than prospect status. But I’m blanking.

Had to cheat and use AI but it said two notable recent ones are Paul Goldschmidt and Whit Merrifield. Didn’t verify

Brent Rooker RS'd as a Fr, played 3 seasons at State. But in his case he still had a leverage year. There may be others like him but I was thinking more of those who had no college eligibility left.

As far as I can tell, both were 3 year guys.

Still counts to me. His junior year is still one of the most impressive SEC seasons I’ve seen. His slugging percentage was higher than the average OPS for SEC players that year.

Figures. When it comes to useless baseball trivia, TD > AI.

God forbid they ever train a LLM with tigerdroppings.
“Of course Kramer Robertson played 4 years at LSU, retard.”
