Worst decision athletic departments ever made was to get rid of the athletic dorms. Easiest and most effective way to keep tabs on players.

The Fact that Gilbert may go to Tennessee should tell you everything about him and the people giving him counsel.

Marcel Brooks didn’t see the field for TCU
Arik has a mental disorder
This is a nothing burger. I’m glad Gilbert is leaving because if he had a change of heart and came back, he’d be nothing but a distraction just looking for a reason to opt out.
We don’t need these guys to win.

I'm pretty sure the NCAA outlawed dorms for athletes only back in 1991. Even that over-hyped Bryant Hall at Alabama had to change, and it became the athletic department's academic center.
Weed is an issue throughout sports. The day is apparently coming soon when none of the professional sports will be testing for it.
Do the colleges in California, Oregon, Washington and Colorado test for marijuana, even though it's legal in those states?
The NCAA needs to get ahead of the issue and join the list of sports entities that are no longer testing for it.
Of course, you could always take the approach that most schools have and adopt the "move along...nothing to report here" approach.
