At this point, I'm not sure why West Weeks isn't starting with his brother. I would imagine he can tackle better than what we have seen and he probably has the smarts and experience to make a difference.

Our edge rushers absolutely suck, so since they talking about playing a 4-3, why not start Wingo and JJ at tackle with Smith and Jones at end? They'd still have Tank and Paris to go with Womack and Howard at 2 deep, hell with it, let the younger guys play.

When he plays he’s always solid, needs more snaps, we’ll see what happens

That's what I thought, he has been solid when he plays. Need players with heart after they embarrassed themselves.

I can't imagine he is as stiff as Penn.

Until the line is fixed, I am not sure it matters. Bringing 8 players when we stopped Ole Miss was one of the few plays that had any success. It is truly baffling that House rathers players running into each other than blitzing.

West actually graded out better than Whit after the State game.

West Weeks graded out the highest overall with a 73.6, while Mekhi Wingo was highest on run defense with a 75.9. Whit Weeks' 80.6 in tackling was a high mark and Major Burns' 70.4 topped out on pass rush. Harold Perkins was by far the highest-graded in coverage with an 82.5.

If I remember correctly wasn't West the #1 graded player against MSU according to PFF?
