I wear my gear all of the time. I live in eastern NC and get confused for being an ECU Pirate fan. I quickly correct them, and them TIGER BAIT them!

Pensacola now has about an equal number of LSU, UF, FSU, Bama and AU fans showing colors. Only a few others. If you can't be in BR during season, this is a fun place to watch college football. Multiple places to go where all fan bases get together.

I have worn mine (mostly caps or tshirts) in California and Texas and have not been treated any different.
In fact I have found downright indifference in California (at least in the SF Bay Area)

I live in the Huntsville, AL area and get mostly good responses and "geaux tigers". The few times I've gotten sh%^ it was always bammer fans not auburn, funny, huh?

while i was in the military, i done alot of traveling and like most on this thread it was a great conversation starter, the only time it was used in a negative fashion was only in joking form. people must not like you much. got a geaux tigers in copenhagen denmark once, very surprised by that one...
