I'd take Max over what we've got now.

Why? Max is on a more talented team now yet Max and Jayden have remarkably similar passing numbers but Max doesn't add that running dimension that Jayden does.

Daniels “running dimension” is such a crock of shite. If he could make accurate throws and was decisive in his reads we’d be a lot better off than him taking off and getting hurt.

I will piss and moan on your behalf. I also remember that fool Miles's refusal to understand that QB is a really important position.

So as I said, fair-weather fans. Or maybe bandwagon fans? Not a fan of the team or the university it represents, just a fan of the entertainment.

Not all of us will be entertained by a coach who keeps playing the same below-average, poor fit of a 4-year quarterback, over and over again, expecting a different result.

The definition of insanity.

How do you explain a man in his fourth year as a starter playing scared? I mean WTF? If that is the case he needs to quit and do something else.

Makes no dang sense to say that.

I agree that this is a rebuilding year. I pull for every Tiger who comes here and wants to play for LSU. I do feel that JD is a stop gap QB whom BK THINKS at this time gives us the best chance to win. If JD shits the bed against a Fla team that is more on a par with LSU then I think it is time for BK to build for the future by playing the younger guys with talent but limited experience. Nuss should get his chance to shine, if he does then we have two future stars if he doesn't then we have one future star and Nuss will transfer. It will be a fair situation for LSU and these players too.

How much of that running dimension did JD5 add against the Vols?

If they’re hell bent on redshirting Howard, then Nuss needs to start the rest of the way just to see what we have. We know what we have in Jd and it’s not enough.

Then you can evaluate Nuss over several starts and decide if he’s good enough to back up Walker next year.

If Nuss ain't starting next year, he ain't backing up Howard. He's gone.

Obviously the coaches know what they have in Both and JD is the better of the 2.

Maybe there was a discussion between Kelly and Howard's family to not throw him to the wolves like his father was. Let him learn and prepare this season and take the reigns next season

Word is that JD is gone after this season so, I wouldn’t worry too much.

Two years of having to watch JD will give me PTSD to 2009 and 2010 watching JJ. Painful

Kelly does not hate Nuss but he is definitely playing him like a fiddle.

Their overall passing stats may be similar, but Max doesn't struggle to complete a 10 yard pass, and Daniels running abilities are overrated. He kills more drives with his inability to complete passes than he extends with his feet.

Neither does Daniels despite what the rant says.

Are you saying he is not a good runner because he had 1 bad game? If I show you a game where Burrow had a bad passing game, does that make him a bad passer?

Tennessee game-planned for the QB run. It worked for them because Daniels was unable to execute in the passing game.
