Pictures DON'T LIE.............
Its an open forum and he just showed SOME who forgot just how bad LSU was that night... Not ready for the game of their lives at that point. ZERO AdJUSTMENTS by the so-called BEST ever at LSU head coach... ETC.....
An embarrassment is what that was and it has trickled downhill ever since... And now its worse because we have A coach who will never come close to winning 10 games A year like we are used to....
I bash Niles a lot on here but his record speaks for itself and I cheered EVERY GAME HE COACHED for an LSU win.... But I have ben an LSU fan for over 45 years and I WILL cut down ANY HC we have as well as praise him when both are needed...

OU had A 600 something YPG that year and we held them to 152... You really think USC would have done any better????

I also correct mistaken folks that Miles has the higher offensive TDs, ppg, ypg, offense and all the other shite he's top 5 in.
Just read the damn media guide's team records that Miles practically owns.
Saban was a great coach at LSU, but the only coach that can currently knock Miles down the LSU totem pole is Bebe, and good luck with that.

Lets see.. Saban won the 2001 SECCG WITH Denardos players.. He LOST to FLA in 2003 yet still won the NC.. But that FLA loss was unacceptable...
He had only ONE season where he didn't lose more than 3 games.. On and On and On you would go about Nick.....

Actually dukke, I think LSU would have beaten USC as well. I wasn't sticking up for the Trojans, I was just pointing out in my post that the AP poll, the USC program and USC fans claim that they have a share of that years title.

ALL I KNOW is that I AM an LSU FAN and want the best for the young men that put that uniform on and do what they can every Saturday Night to give everything they have for the school I root for...

The NCAA recognizes both as National Champions, because they dont award one.
The Division I FBS Football Champion is just about the only one without a true Champion. And until that is fixed, these claims can pop up if they are backed by an NCAA accepted source.

And if I complain about a call that an official might make in a game, which in my opinion, is a bad call, you have a problem with this. But it's okay for you to voice your opinions and any and all concerns you may have because it's your right to do so. But not for the rest of us?

13.8 opponents 1st downs per game
2.3 takeaways per game

almost identical numbers and 2011 played a far superior schedule.
in 2003 lsu didn't ply single sec team that finished the season with less than a 3 losses.
