It's ridiculous how much talent we have at WR...and yet we'll still come out on first down in our base set of two TEs and two WRs. With a fullback.
OMG I CANT BELIEVE CLM WOULD LET US PLAY WITH 12 PEOPLE ON THE FIELD WHAT AN IDIOT

HAHA you don't have to worry about running the spread. I was just listening to the radio and the qb we signed was on. I think he is scared of competing with the other qb's because he has ask to be red shirted. Then he says les told him he would be the only qb we recruit this year. So if les tells him he can red shirt and learn the offense and he is a pocket passer power I type. what offense do you think les is going to run. Ill tell you the same ole crap he ran this year, he ain't going to change a thing. another 8 and 5 season coming.

It's going to be the same as last year's offense.

There is no reason to have less than 3 WR's on the field for 75% of the time this year unless we are in obvious goal line or short yardage situations.
It really depends on how the fullback is used. An athletic fullback can add diversity to the running and passing game. He can be an additional threat as a runner or receiver. That can open things up for the TB or HB.

Our offensive scheme has proven to be good when we have a qb that can execute. The same scheme that gave lsu its best offense in a long time, in 2013.

There is no justification to run out there with fullbacks on most every down.
You use our talent and depth at WR as a reason to change to a spread offense. By the same token, our talent and depth at O-line and RB could be used to justify the same style of offense we've always had.
