We need to hire an analytical coach

Analytics are the present and future of baseball. You look at all the successful MLB teams, they’re analytical. You look at the top college programs, they’re analytical. Ever since the analytical movement in college baseball, which is ironically right after we lost to Florida in the CWS, we have been trending down. We need someone that understands pitch counts so guys aren’t injured all the time, shifts which are mathematically proven to work, launch angle, exit velo, tracking pitcher spin rate, using your best reliever in the highest leverage situations, using your best hitters, less small ball.
