You're being too hard on Mett. When you have receivers as good as Beckham and Landry going against undersized DBs, you're supposed to throw it up there and let them make plays. It just didn't work out; shite happens.

I don't care if you're throwing to Calvin Johnson, you don't throw the ball into the deep middle third into double coverage ... Especially when you have a receiver wide open underneath.

Mett did this twice.

We could run at will against the land mass; Mett just had to protect the ball.

yeah those first 2 ints were just inexcusable for a senior QB. You can blame the playcalling but those calls were made because you had trust in your senior QB to not go full retard and just throw the ball up for grabs.

At the end of the day we played with our head in our arse mist of the night. This team is a shell of its self.

The calls were great, the dig route was wide open on both throws. On the second one, Landry ran the dig at 10-12 and the underneath coverage bit on the play fake. If Mett makes the correct read, it's a 20 yard gain at minimum.

I love Mett. He's the best QB we've had since Russell. But he cost is the game last night by being overagressive in his reads. We were dominating the line of scrimmage; in that type of game you have to protect the ball.

This team is not a championship team. They just are not. Time to figure that out and deal with it. More losses to come.

We don't have that cohesive emotion filled team with the killer instinct. We tend to play scared instead of loose and confident.

Or maybe because you trust your stellar WRs with 4-foot verticals to go up and get them. That's exactly what JFF does and Evans more often than not makes him look like a Heisman winner.

Look, you came back and tied the game. Your OL cost you the chance to win it. Sacks. Hurries. No rush.

There was literally nothing conservative about the play calling last night.

And yet our RBs averaged over 4 yards a carry last night out of the I. Alabama's offense is based out of the I formation.

Again, the rant is a blackhole of football knowledge.

Are you kidding me the i formation the whole first half which carried over from the Florida game than once the score is 17 - 7 we open up three to four wide and make a great come back this team is built to be more diverse not just pound n ground and that's why Les is not a great coach and one of the main reason juniors leave early because in big games you will see 2 tight ends who won't catch a pass and a straight ground game with play action sprinkled in its sad to watch sometimes.

We moved the ball well in the 1st half on the ground. We turned it over by being overagressive in our passing game. It had nothing to do with the I formation.

I honestly think some of you don't watch the games and just repeat shite you've heard on this board.

I agree Mett threw some bad passes but play calling falls on the coach...period

He didn't adjust when he saw Mett was having a bad game..
