Delpit- Mo Hampton/ Todd Harris
CEH- Emery/ TDP/ Curry
Jefferson- Boutte/ Palmer/ McMath
Cush- Hines
Charles- Rosenthal
Queen/Phillips- Clark/ Starks/ Baskerville/ Sampah/ White
Potentially
Vincent- Flott
Moss- Gilbert

But what about Chaisson? This is probably our most important defensive position. I could maybe see Webb or Brooks taking over but they’re a little undersized right now. Anthony and the other upperclassmen haven’t shown that they can get to the QB. Maybe we could look at Roche WDE. If KC leaves, who is the next guy in line?

LB is definitely our biggest question mark next season. We signed some studs, but who expected all 4 to be gone?

Never really thought about Vincent leaving to be honest. I’m all for cashing in when you can, but I think another year would help him out a bit...

Clowney supposedly showed no signs of progression during his senior year. Just what I read.

Waiting on Vincent, Moss, Chaisson.

We have two very good pass rushers coming in, Webb and Ojulari

Vincent was always a possibility. Speed is what the NFL lives and he’s got this in spades.

Besides Brooks and the incoming freshman, someone in another thread pointed to Desmond Little. He was a take last cycle as a Chaisson-esque like project. Anyone happen to have any info on his development thus far?

Great point. Ojulari is a beast. Will he be able to step right in though? Let's have faith in Coach O. D-line is his baby!

Young but unproven talent behind Chaisson for sure. The 2 kids we just signed are studs but we have to see if they can play as freshman. Gaye will get his shot as well. Brooks will be good in obvious pass rushing situations but we will learn if he can play the run consistently.

Charles leaving worries me the most. Dare seemed to improve each game but he played with veterans right next to him. Lots of new faces playing across the Oline next year. Hoping they come together quickly. Hines was good at guard and hopefully handles the center spot well.

I agree. Linebacker is a complex position. Like the QB of the defense. They must know where every player is supposed to be and what their job is. Inexperience at LB is a problem. At DB, all you need to know is your coverage technique and go play. But LB, you got to know gap responsibilities, blitzes, coverage, formations, stunts, and most importantly you got to be instinctive. Aranda definitely has a lot of work ahead of him.

I think this is why we saw Damone Clark and Micah Baskerville play quite a bit.

Clark finished 6th on the team in tackles.
