Dinardo was here almost 30 years ago. Expectations have changed. The standard at Lsu is championships
We have had 3 in almost 30 years, meaning the expectation is about 1 every 10 years?
The span between championships in football at LSU.
45 years between 1&2, 4 years between 2&3, 12 years between 3&4. It's been 6 years since the last.

Your qb has to be able to exploit those spaces with his feet
It helps to have a quarterback who can, but it isn’t required. What is required is your O line needs to be able to be able to block a three man rush on a team who had their entire D Line replaced from last year.
It helps to have your pocket passer QB throw accurate passes on time to open receivers.
On the interception, he threw into a pack of people. He had 3 options in line with each other, short, medium and long.
Short was wide open to Jujuan Johnson, would have got us a 1st down around the 30. Easy play.
Long was Zavion Thomas, who seemed to be starting to break open, and would have required a strong throw, tight spiral, leading to the back of the endzone. I've seen Nuss make that throw, but not this year, not with the velocity he'd have needed.
Medium was to Barrion Brown, who had a couple guys around him, and the guys chasing Thomas beyond him. That was Nuss' choice, and was picked off.
I'd need to see the field on some of those medicine balls (which I don't want to watch again
Nussmeier just really went off the rails in the 2nd quarter, to where it felt like 1/9/11 all over again. But that wasn't a premier Saban Bama defense.
I think we could have run more, if we'd have changed things up. They drop 8, go ahead and put in some 2 TE packages and run. We're within 1 score, it wasn't desperation time yet. If they crowd the line, run play-action to one of the WRs.
But we refuse to NOT be a pass-first offense in this scheme, the run seems secondary.
Conversely, you could try Van Buren in this scheme, and let him run some. There are openings a reasonably athletic guy can get 5-6 yds as a QB on a lot of those plays. I think Ole Miss knew that, and knew Nussmeier wouldn't ever try to do so, so they left that open.

Saying “you’re spoiled” is Kelly’s way of gaslighting the fanbase into not criticizing him for his inability to analyze and fix obvious problems in a timely manner.
We are no different than any other fan base of a team expecting to be a playoff contender, so BK's words ring very hollow with me.
It was obvious Nuss was 'off' yesterday, a set of downs for Van Buren would have been the thing to do, what did we have to lose? I tried to give BK the benefit of the doubt up to this point, but now I no longer feel that way. i feel we were out-coached and did not make the proper adjustments.

We want a dominant football team commensurate with the amount of money poured into the program. But, it’s ok BK, if you don’t know how to accomplish that, then step aside and let the University go out and get someone who can.
I'm sure he'd be more happy to once the university pays him the buyout as stipulated in the contract he signed.
