I have to think Scott is aware and will make a move....when?

I believe it'll be at the end of the season. If Mainieri rights the ship, he stays. If he doesn't he goes. Woodward will know when it's time to put the full court press on his short list and get one of them on board.

At this point, I think it's as simple as that. It's way too early to begin the process, though. You part ways with baseball coaches after the season, not five games in. It's not like football coaching changes and there's really nothing to be gained by being hasty. There is plenty of time after the last pitch to handle personnel.

as the apologists say:

"dO yoU kNow MoRe thAn dA coAcHes!??????!!!"

Which is where the divide comes from. It's not just a matter of not agreeing. It's a matter of the apologists knighting up and going off on any and everybody who disagrees.

You and I have a different idea of mediocrity.

He has 1 NC, 1 runner up, 4 SEC regular season Championships (1 out of every 3 years), 6 SEC tourney Championships (every other year), 3 national coach of the year awards, is in the College Baseball Hall of Fame, closing in on 1500 wins.
