It is also a good barometer on how good the D is because Texas is going to test Aranda's defense. Ehrlinger is a good QB and they have the ability to put up a lot of points. That being said, I think the Oct 12 game vs Florida will be the first real test of our offense since Texas is replacing so many defenders.

They have top ten talent in the country, the highest rated B12 team. Basically neck and neck with LSU as far as composite talent.
I would think this is something that would be figured out by midseason, not preseason.

No one knows how this shite is gonna shake out. Every year people think they have it all pegged only to see it flip upside down. Even if we do somehow lose to Texas, it wouldn't be the end of the season. It's a long way to go until the end of November and a lot of shite can happen.

I've never thought of Luny as a full on basher. He can walk on both sides and granted he does lean basher more often than not but he spends just enough time with the good guys that he usually gets a pass.
