Way too early bowl projections-247

Usually I wouldn't pay any mind to this type of stuff but the article has some ironic match-ups:
1. TaxSlayer Bowl
LSU vs. Florida State
Dec. 30 Noon, ESPN
EverBank Field
Jacksonville, Florida
2. AutoZone Liberty Bowl
LSU vs. Texas
Dec. 30 12:30 p.m., ABC
Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium
Memphis, Tennessee
3.Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl
LSU vs. North Carolina State
Dec. 29 4:30 p.m., ESPN
Nissan Stadium
Nashville, Tennessee
1&2 are ironic for obvious reasons. but 3, is a little more interesting in that Syracuse's coach said that NC State was better than LSU after playing the teams in back-to-back weeks.
Honorable mention- in the article they predict we could play Purdue at two different bowls. It'd be fun to watch a transfer of theirs curb-stomp them in a bowl.
Non-ironic match-up that is in there is LSU VS Michigan State. I think that would be a great game.

If you told me we’d be playing Florida State in a bowl game before the season started I would have sworn it would be a NY6 bowl. Crazy.

That's some real strong bowls right there for team that was supposed to be in the playoff according to the HC.

People would watch any of these for brand recognition alone, especially texas after the herman fiasco.

I think by irony he means situationally good matchups. We have some extent of beef with all of these teams. NC state only because syracuse HC cant keep his mouth shut.

If you had told me before the season we'd be playing Florida St in the Gator Bowl (Taxslayer) I would've been shocked at how far FSU fell
For LSU this is about where I was anticipating we would be before the season started. Now I'd be beyond ecstatic for that matchup
