Watching Thompson play SS is like watching someone whom you can’t trust to boil water.

It’s not that most of us don’t know baseball. We know, we also know what happens when you can’t trust someone with a simple task.

A watched pot never boils.
Or whatever weirdness you are spewing.

What a bizarre metaphor.

I get it, he’s not the SS we expected, but why the need to continually bash him?

A closely watched ball is never dropped. Can’t trust Thompson with either tasks.

I feel kinda bad for the kid. It’s gotta really suck every time he makes an error. It’s not like he’s doing it on purpose. Don’t get me wrong, I wish they would bench him. I experienced something similar when I was 10, and then my mom brought me to the eye doctor, got glasses, and it was a whole new ballgame. The relief was amazing. But the constant struggles beforehand were tough. I had a lump in my throat most games.

Yeah it’s extremely frustrating, but this is who our team is at this point and who we’ve been all year. We’re a bad defensive team all around. I don’t quite get the point in harping on it, but it is an LSU sports message board

The best SS in the state in 2019, Eric Brown, was never recruited by LSU. He will now be a first or second round pick this year. One of the best Baseball players I’ve seen at the high school level.

It’s like watching coach’s son at SS ahead of better players. Except CPM didn’t bring in any other decent SS. Amazing.

Pulling for him. This guy has had a tough stretch.

He makes you nervous when he is at the plate with men on.

He makes you nervous in the field.

Hoping he can get right.
