Watching the replay now. Moss is the TE we’ve been needing.

Man have we needed this type of TE. He has great hands, is athletic, runs great routes and absolutely loves contact. He’s physical and we’ve all seen the replay of his viscous chip block against Florida. He will play a critical role on the road against Bama. He’s a nightmare matchup on many levels.
The guy is the perfect example of patience, belief in one’s self and dedication. Really happy for him and the way he’s now being worked into the offense. This gives us a weapon we haven’t had in forever.

This, we had very athletic Te's before, who were never used. Desean Smith was as athletic and versatile a player at that position as Moss is, probably more. I think the guy caught like 8 passes his whole career. Had 3-4 of those in one game.

We’ve actually had some pretty good TEs over the years. But we rarely used them.
Thad is EXCELLENT at catching with his hands and in traffic catching contested balls though. He’s another weapon that we can turn to and exploit a mismatch if we have it.

Yes the comment about having a weapon we haven’t had in forever in no way meant we didn’t have good TE’s in the past. I think we all know that we had some really good ones, but just a the WR position was rarely used in the past, the TE position was doomed to being a blocker his entire career.

I can’t wait until Marshall is back. When everything is clicking mid-late season. Jefferson, Chase, Marshall, Moss, CEH on the field at the same time....that’s just unfair almost!

Moss is really good and can do it all. He brings an edge with him as well which is needed. LSU is strong at TE with Moss. Whens the next replay on the SEC channel or online?
