Does your cable package include the sec network?

You don't have the cable package

You can call and JUST get SECNETWORK for $5 a month extra. That's what I do

I had the exact same problem and spent more than an hour on the phone with cox and ESPN. No luck.

I used my friends att login and it worked the first time.

It looks to be a cox issue.

Edit: I have the top tier sports package through cox br. The guy at cox confirmed. he went as far as giving me a number to call thinking it was on ESPN side.
Everything worked except sec + content.

Same exact problem for me. So frustrating. And I know it's working for some cox customers

I had the same problem. After several discussions with Cox, the issue was resolved. Delete the ESPN app and reload it. Once it's reloaded, click the gear icon, log out, and log on again using your Cox username and password. This process worked for me and I now get all of the SEC channels online.

I live in Jefferson & Cox is my ISP (& I have the sports package). I haven’t had any problems using the WatchESPN App to stream the first two LSU baseball games (nor any of the previous basketball games). I am using a Kindle HDX (on WiFi) to stream the games to my big screen TV (using a Netgear Push2TV device to connect the TV to my Kindle).
As I recall the first time I attempted to use the WatchESPN App on my Kindle, it required me to identify my ISP and then provide a user ID & password in order to gain entry to the event. Could this possibly be your problem - that you haven’t provided the necessary info to use the App????
I’m not really tech savvy but this process works well for me!

After I delete the app & reinstall, it says "choose service provider" when I choose "Cox" it automatically logs me on . I can log back out, but it never gives me an option to enter my user name & password. It does it automatically . And yes, I do have sec network through cox on my TV sets .

You may need to hit the gear icon on the upper right section of the main page, hit log out, then manually log back on.

Ditto.

Maybe it's something to do with clearing the browser cache.

Also under settings there's a watchespn tab that has a reset authentification option.

shite doesn't work. Lol. I'll fricking use my friends att account all year I guess.

For sport I'll keep trying stuff. Please update if you resolve

After you log out, it should give you the option to type you log in information rather than connecting you automatically.

I have DirecTV but Cox for my internet at my house. What has been odd for me is that I have been able to watch the game on the Watch ESPN app on my Nook but not on my iPad. And when I log out then try to manually log back in on the iPad it never asks for my login info. It just automatically logs me in.

I also have an Amazon Fire stick which allows me to watch the games on my tv (when I'm not having to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with my son). I'm really looking forward to using this throughout the year but will watch on the Nook when I need to.

There is definitely some sort of issue going on with COX. Like others, I've got the sports tier along with the SEC Network, but am unable to access SEC+ content online. The crazy thing is that all the other streaming content works (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, etc.).

So far I've tried it on a Roku, iPad, Android phone, and a windows PC and they all give similar messages, "You are not authorized to play this content. Please contact your provider."

I had a chat session with a COX representative on Friday night and they had no solution. They said that I should be receiving the SEC+ content. The next step would seem that I'll bring my iPad to their service center to show them the error. If anyone has had any luck with getting COX to fix this problem or have any suggestions, I'd be grateful.
