They got a little lucky at times, too. The SS had a looping throw to first that took 1B way off the bag, but it was just in time for him to get a tag down on Yorke. We also had a couple of balls hit that looked like they had a shot to drop in, but they always seemed to be playing the perfect depth in the outfield.

Their pitcher on the mound when I tuned in was having a good game. They mentioned he could get to 93 on the fastball and he wasn’t giving up walks. The broadcast mentioned his pitches weren’t easy to pick up due to his high leg kick and delivery. It definitely worked for him.

It’s good when you win a close game like this where nothing other than your pitching is going the right way. But boy was it going right. Moore and Sheerin ate them alive, as they should have. Their entire offense was a HR and a double from one hot batter.

And if LSU did that we’d be calling it a good play by Yorke.

And if we were in the field we’d be calling it good positioning.

It is what it is. Dartmouth isn’t a very good team. LSU is.
