It was as bad as always. Several fouls against Temple were aweful, which caused him to sit a lot of minutes in foul trouble. Last foul on QThornton was just a joke. One ref had the red-arse at Trent, and refused to call a foul when LSU got the ball under the basket. MThorton was hacked many times, no call. I know bad officiating cuts both ways but some of these were just frustrasting.

the "charge" called on mt killed us. really messed up our flow. we didnt lose because of the officiating, but it was bad. you know that grey haired dude mustve been terrible because he made tony clark (i think that his name, the smaller, older black dude) look like a good official.

That was the right call, but it did kill any momentum.

Absolutely true. We had no shooting touch last night, no offensive boards, and the ball handling was aweful. MT looked like he never got comfortable with the ball; too much fumbling.

the officiated was that bad. it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game. we could not stop #4 for vandy and #1 white boy had two clutch threes that knocked the wind out of our sails when we had the change of momentum. the white/grey haired ref was horrible, he has always been bad, we just need to get rid of him. i don't look at this loss as a huge defeat. i actually would rather lsu lose now and then win the last game, do well in the sec tourny, if not win it, that way when they head to the ncaa tourny we will be more down to earth and grounded. this is a great team and either way i'm proud of them. geaux tigers.

IMO, Yes. It went both ways though. The old guy with the slicked back white hair was horrific. He made several bad calls against LSU, and then it looked like he was trying to make up by making bad calls on Vandy. I think he is just a bad official.

no way was that the right call. he slid into MT and didn't give MT any room to change direction

The correct assessment:

The charge on MT was a poor call, but we got the same call on the other side right after when Tasmin took one from their center

The fifth foul on Quintin Thorton WAS a foul. I had the best view of anybody via my seat. Loose ball contact is a point of emphasis this year and Q definitely gained an advantage through contact.

Quintin Thorton embarassed himself because it WAS a double dribble. I saw it in person and on TV. You can't boo anybody for that one.

Tony Green (short old black official) was actually the worst, the white haired guy just had the biggest bang bang plays that everyone remembers

All previous comments concerning traveling and inconsistancy are definitely correct

Don't argue with me on this subject... I know more than you.

there's no way that was a foul, Q touched the ball first and they were both going after the LOOSE ball and him and Ogilvy ran into each other, let the boys play for goodness sakes

yea because when you lose the ball and get it back and start dribbling that's a double dribble, let me tell ya

And apparently I missed the memo that you can now take as many steps with the ball as you want.

apparantly you haven't watched much basketball. You can now take as many steps as you want as long as your palming the ball.
