Walker and Dave Neal talked about this 7 or 8 times throughout games 2 and 3.

This bomb by Tommy White has to be up there. You can see it easily clear the scoreboard

Mouton put one in the upper deck/terrace in the superdome at the winn-dixie calssic one year. Not sire if that's as impressive as it seemed to me at the time as a kid

Exact one I always think of. Believe I was behind home plate that game. He hit it off Michael Reed and my memory tells me it was rising as it was going over the score board. Couldn't find a video though.

I seem to remember Bo Jackson hitting a bomb at the box. I may be wrong though.

I remember one of the Boone brothers from USC hitting an absolute tank in the old box in a regional probably 90-92ish...

This is why I read the thread

Brett's shot deserves mention

It was the farthest I've ever seen in person and given the bats used at that time, I believe it would hold true til today as at least top 3, if not 1

I can’t speak for longest HR on campus at LSU, but in high school I saw Albert (Joey) Belle hit one that went so far it should have been measured in yards not feet. It was at Ruston High. That thing hit the VoTech building way down the hill.

Joey hit one in Omaha deep into the night against Miami - it just disappeared into the darkness. No telling how far that one went.
