Was that the best game LSU has played all year?

Aside from the first ten or so minutes, of course.

I don't know about y'all but that was definitely the team I was hoping to see this year. When we shoot it like we did tonight, watch out. Crazy thing is we still have not played a game up to our potential yet. If I were any tourney team, I would not want to face LSU in the first weekend!

If the guards had hit from the three point line vs Oklahoma, like the did tonight, we would have won by ten points.

Yea but hornsby played probably his worst game as a Tiger...and that's saying something. If he hits half the percentage of shots that he normally does in the OU game, we win comfortably

IMO OU was the best game we played all year, even with the loss. Maybe UK 2nd since we skulldragged them. Tonight, once we overcame the 22-8 deficit and took the lead 34-33, I was never concerned. They retook the lead momentarily, but then it was bye felicia.

Side note, can I point out that our former coach Trent Johnson has TCU 10-13, 1-9 last place in Big12. This was Alleva's shining hire 8 years ago. People need to remember how proud Alleva was announcing that hire.

CJJ gets way too much criticism on this board.

100% agree with you. It's just the LSU fan way. Sure he makes mistakes, but who doesn't? He's a good coach who seems to be getting better and better. And hard to argue with his stats as the best LSU basketball coach record in his first few years.

The reason they shot so well is Ms State was playing a junk zone that led to wide open shots. OU was contesting everything.

UK game, then this one, then Oklahoma despite the loss. Vandy would be my 4th. That is the toughest gym next to Rupp -- ahead of the new Barnhill and Gainesville and PMAC as the top 5.
