Well of course, ole Les Miles held those teams down with his antiquated, outdated offenses. But I've always said once LSU runs real offense that this is what would happen - a National championship.
But I just think you're downplaying Clemson and Ohio State, they were both talented teams despite Clemson pitiful schedule. shite, truth be told Alabama gets over every year too. They play the weakest SEC east teams in a Vandy, Kentucky and a hapless Tennessee now while LSU is saddled with got damn Florida every year and also gets to play Georgia like they have the past 2 seasons, fricking ridiculous. The people at the SEC office in ole Birmingham should be shot. Bama also plays a lot of softies during the regular season outside of SEC play.

Never said any of those teams beat 2018 Clemson, that's the past anyways, you're saying that. I said any other year going from the current year that LSU just won if I need to spell it out to you. If LSU doesn't have the team that they had this season, of course either Clemson or Ohio State wins this. Stop making this so complicated.

IMO, TL is a Heisman level QB, but may never win it just like Tua. The amount of hype that was put on Tua and Lawrence is insurmountable. There is no way they can live up to it. Tua's was so high after they beat Clemson and UGA, the only way he was going to live up was to beat Clemson. Well you saw what happened there.
Same with Lawrence. 29 straight wins, they disemboweled Bama for the natty. Here comes LSU with the prolific offence and according to the media, a spotty defense. There was no way Lawrence was going to come out ahead unless he was to replicate what he did to bama, to LSU.
To much pressure, too much hype. I think Clemson was good, but SPECIAL.....well that was our LSU Tigers. THEY, were special.

Obviously, you have a different way of viewing any other year, and you're also intent on arguing shite. Of course any other year wouldn't include 2018 because it's the past and Clemson has already claimed that title. When a person refers to a comment being "any other year" obviously we are talking about the current and not the past, but I guess you view things, differently.

I liken them to the Packers this year. There was no choice to have them ranked so high because pf their record, but anyone could see they weren't as good as their record suggested. Really, I was trying to give you the benefit of doubt, but you're more of the one that's talking out of your arse because you're calling 2 teams that both went unbeaten (despite your patsie schedule BS argument) "overrated".
