okay yeah that was a lil harsh but im just really frustrated about how poorly he's played...we could've been a contender again this yr if he wouldn't play like rex groosman

This kid is learning! You couldnt throw a ball 15 yds if you tried, much less with the pressure this kid has! He will be fine. Quit bitching. Its not all his fault. What about our wr's who drop his good passes for TD's? What about our D-line thats only been good against the run? What about our LB's that miss plays every game? thank you.

there's no doubt he has the talent and after this year he will have the experience to go with it...i think he can be deadly with some time

i agree with this...he made one hell of a throw on the go route to mitchell that should have been 6 and slipped through his hands! i know he made bad decisions but some of you need to look for the positives!

i will say this in regard to the negative comments about Lee and im not downing him in any way because i have been behind him and will stay but the one thing i wish he would improve on is his vision...the post to lafell was open i dont know how many times against bama and he either just didnt see it or was afraid to throw it over the middle but this play was open a lot!!! But he will get better over time and all you bashers can eat crow

mccoy and bradford were also playing against big 12 defenses. they weren't playing against sec defenses. put those two as freshmen against florida, georgia and alabama and see how they do.

you're right about RP and his problems. I wanna see Jefferson play some against troy this weekend to see if he can do b/c JL will struggle against Ole MIss mark it down. I've watched them play this year a good bit and they will get Greg Hardy back in time to play us, and with our line JL will be under pressure the entire afternoon.

Jarrett Lee looks at his primary receiver from the time the ball is snapped to thrown just about every time. He never checks down and throws the ball whether the primary receiver is covered, triple covered etc or not. That is his problem. He has absolutely no field vision or decision making skills

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing JJ this weekend. I'm not holding out that he is the messiah for LSU, but will provide changeup. Lord, it would be difficult for him to screw up more than JL. .... as to the original question, I just haven't seen enough out of JL yet to convince me he is the future for LSU, JR did. KC.

I bet if I could go 4-19 and throw a few picks against bama, oh wait, JL already did that through 2 1/2 quarters against bama

Huge differences between the two.
1 . Lee does not have the overall athleticism of JR
2. Lee does not have the cannon arm of JR to bail him out.
3 . Lee has even less mobility or ability to get out of the pocket and make a play
4. They both make a lot of bonehead decisions while trying to force a play resulting in TO's . JR is still doing it in Oakland

Jamarcus came in and you could see the God-given raw talent. With him, it was more of a coaching job to reel-in that talent to focus it in the game. Over time his touch was much improved and his decision much better.
With Lee, he has potential but he doesn't have that raw talent that Jamarcus has. He also gets rattled and doesn't brush it off like JR was able to do.

Good point and I totally agree. Not sure he progression reads much if at all and I am sure that will come with experience. I thought Byrd was open on the post route when he threw the int in overtime.

Anyway all this is moot if Chris Mitchell makes the catch or even if perhaps make that last field goal.

Lee has thrown many many many more interceptions.

Though I'm starting to think the reason so many are pick 6's is because our offense is terrible at chasing down a ball carrier.

Think about it - last year we had Flynn. Interceptions were rare. The offense got used to not having to tackle ball carriers. Now we have Lee and it happens all the time.

I've seen at least two of Lee's pick 6's that resulted in TD's mostly because the offense didn't know how to tackle.

I have been following LSU since '65..you were probably not born...and I do not know of any.

I seem to recall Tommy being pretty good.
