Completely agree, if this trend of canceling games when you are a decided underdog spreads to the regular season further accelerates college football decline.
I’d be concerned if I was the NFL and start planning on a development league for kids who don’t want or capable of college. With distractions of NIL and portal jumping the player development will decline for putting talent in the league, which hurts the NFL.
