Was anybody really satisfied?

I was relieved we didn't lose last night. But am I weird because I left that game last night feeling the exact same way about the situation that I felt before opening kickoff? I know I'm weird already, but wondering if I'm alone feeling that way about the football team.
The game did nothing to sway me either way.

I feel same way. This team just cannot put it all together for 4 qtrs.

I was. I was worried this team would be flat and not want to play. Kudos to the coaches for getting them ready to play.
But I was not happy with the same old tired offense I've been watching all year. I'm hopeful that will be addressed soon.

They do look strugglish at times, but other times they look dominant.
After last nights game, I am unbelievably happy. I get to go a month with that winning feeling. Also, once again, I think the struggles of this year will pay off next year.

No. As long as Miles is here, LSU will struggle to beat middle of the pack and better SEC teams. I'm glad the team won, ended the streak against Arkansas, and secured a New Year's Day Bowl.
But it took some heat off Miles. The guy is a horrible coach and LSU will never be great with him here.

I support the players and I am glad they won but this is not acceptable for the talent LSU has. LSU coaching is pitiful. Same crap, get a lead and do nothing. Miles has got by with this at times but there has been a few Ole Miss games he got really lucky on.

I am still waiting for Lsu to play 4 quarters of football. It seems after the half, it takes about 10 minutes for Lsu to get started again. This better change before next yr.

Certainly gotta agree with you there, Paul_LSU_passion......we still have major problems, and we continue to see the same mistakes over and over again. I am glad we came out on top by actually executing the two minute offense better, but let's face it.....last week should have NEVER happened, and we certainly have underachieved this year.

Putty,
did you notice where Jasper was on that long kick? On the 31 with plenty to spare.
I was doing this thinking about it>>

Last night gave me the standard, win is a win, feeling.

Definitely satisfied. The reason I am reading this board now is because I am pumped about winning and want to soak it up some more.
I hate Arkansas. Petrino is a quitter and Mallet is a punk. They have no business beating us as many times as they have recently, and that goes for the Saban era as well. Sent them back to the hills crying in their towels. That's why I watch LSU football.
We are 9-3 and alone in the second tier of the SEC. That may not be the goal but it beats being in the third tier with seven other teams. Go Tigers!

We didn't play flat, no bad coaching decisions, pulled out a tight win against the best O in the conference, and a team that's beaten us the past two years in a row.
Yeah, I'm satisfied.
And oh yeah, we get the chance to feast on some pedestrian Big 10 team on new years day.

That's debatable at best. In my opinion, Ole Miss is definitely the best of the 2nd tier.

Can't say that win they lose big to MSU.

The team, and especially the coaches, still is not much! To have to pull out of your arse a win against an unranked Arky at home in OT is still pathetic! And for anyone to be thrilled with it shows how far the program has fallen and the acceptance of it has fallen! Very much, no longer an elite team, and haven't been for a couple of years, and will never be again as long as Chuckles is the head coach! Get used to 2nd and 3rd tier bowl games, and being excited as hell if LSU wins 9 games in future seasons from here on out as long as the coach is retained!

I love it when LSU beats Arkansas.

Let's not forget Ark almost beat UF.
