What did Walton and Johnson say? Haven't listened to them in years. Were they talking the same thing? If so, good.

Why would the sponsors want to sully the image of the SEC since they are betting big dollars on viewership and affiliation with the SEC. They want the cheating refs deal to go away quietly.

My letter to Allstate:

As a sponsor of SEC football, I hope that your company is aware of the controversy surrounding the officiating of key games in which your name is associated.

The young men who play college football deserve the opportunity to let their talent and above all, fairness, dictate the final outcome of the games in which they play. The controversy surrounding the officiating within SEC games is well documented nationwide, which I am sure you are aware.

I hope the image Allstate wants to have is above the standard that the SEC has set for themselves. I am dismayed at the thought that perhaps this isn't the case, since your logo appears between the goalposts at SEC stadiums, and your ads play during commercial breaks.

I hope, and expect, that your company will demand that the office of the Southeastern Conference take steps to see that athletes in the field of play are in the "Good Hands" of honest, unbiased officiating.

Thank you for your time,

C. Todd
