Then why hasn't he done that yet. We have not other back nearly as good as Ridley right now, period.

Did you miss what he did when he got a few touches against Ole Miss?

Ok let's do a run down:

Speed - ford
Strength - ford
Catching - ford
Vision - ford
Capable of breaking a long run - ford
Drafted higher - ford
More senior - Ridley

Nice runs in that game. Did you miss what he did the rest of the year?

Did you forget one? Like picking up blitzes and other blocking?
I think Ford has promise, but there were issues that prevented early PT and it had nothing to do with being a Senior.

As far as what counts for strength as a RB (power running), I give a slight edge to Ridley.

Fwiw, rewatching games, ridley missed quite a few blocks.

So did blue early in the season.

When did ford have a chance to miss blocks?

Weight room strength does not always correlate to the football field. Doc if you really think Ford is head and shoulders above Ridley then you either haven't been watching the games or your last name is Ford.

It ford gets his chance, he'll have everyone forgetting about Ridley. Very quickly.

Speed - ford (have not been impressed w/Ford's speed)

Strength - ford (no way he gets the short yard better than Ridley)

Catching - ford (decent hands in the few passes I have seen him catch)

Vision - ford (north and south runner as far as I have seen).

Capable of breaking a long run - ford (you have seen him break one at LSU)

Drafted higher - ford (Good Lord, no more than he has touched the ball I haven't even formed an opinion as to whether he is pro material).

More senior - Ridley (this is just silly)

Ridley was a "scholarship" student at Trinity. He was there to play ball and win championships for them.

Disagree, and yes I know Ford outlifts Ridley

Catching - ford

Maybe, neither catch a lot out of the backfield because our OC is a moron.

Vision - ford

No way, no how.
