Apparently the voting has noting to do with a "winning" can. If you go to the homepage of the site you see they're producing all 32 color schemes for distribution around the country. Maybe the voting is to collect data re: where to distribute regionally?

CNN just did a small piece saying the different color cans will be in each university. But at least they will know who has the best fans!
