it's just a dumb comment considering his qb won't have the chance to get the ball to him in the first place since Sims will be spending most of Saturday afternoon running for his life and laying on the turf.
Jones acts like this is a premier matchup between two great teams and him (nobody has heard of him) and PP (who is) are both big stars going head to head.
Wake up dude, ur team barely escaped losing to UAB at home in OT because their kicker missed 5 field goals. Your team is weak, keep your mouth shut and maybe you won't get hit in the mouth too hard

No one is saying he's scared of Peterson. I think his quote makes it very obvious that he's the opposite of scared right now. Confident and cocky would be more alike it.
That being said, I think it would be awesome if PP offered him a candy bar after the game.
