Both guys spoke at the luncheon and said a lot. Good stuff, particularly from Cameron on the scheme and play calling responsibilities.

Nice to see him get 5 carries in a 17-0 shutout

If only we could have rushed it with Magee.

I thought it was interesting how Cam basically admitted they went more spread and zone read against A&M. Like they did not get past the stubborn plan to stay traditional until the last game even though the offense was not working.

I am as frustrated as most, but until we went completely tits up against Arky there was a case to be made that we were doing 'enough', I believe after that shite show everyone had to take notice of needed changes.

There was some room for reasonable minds to differ until that performance.

I honestly feel better about the offense going forward after watching Cam speak.

7 points. 10 points. 13 points. 7 points. 0 points.

That's some identity.

The man did not earn his paycheck.

Interesting comment from a man that hasn't earned a paycheck in years.

They weren't scoring points. I really think anyone trying to make the case that the limited offense despite the talent on hand was good enough is beyond help.

Against Bama, 13 points were not enough. Against Ole Miss, 10 points were somehow enough. They were banging their heads against the wall while not putting away games, which is why they only split those two games. Then came Arkansas, where they could have won with a decent offensive attack as well.

Once again the early season woes could be explained away by youth, especially the Auburn debacle. The talent on hand was very very young.

I am not saying I agree, but I can see the point that 'good enough' was working servicably well...until Arkansas.

But I am on record last year of not liking the Cam approach, and got blasted by everyone with a keyboard.

Thanks for posting that.

I would be very comfortable with Cam Cameron as our next head coach. It is so refreshing listening to a coach who is articulate.
