WR misses block

What do you think happened? Didn't understand his blocking responsibility? Poor technique? Lazy blocking? Amazing play by defender?

Lucky it was just a 5 yard loss and not a fumble, pick6, or injury to Guice. Can't afford to have many mistakes like these next Saturday.

I wonder why we didn't have a guy like dural or diarse making that block. Can't afford to get our guys tee'd off on.

It looked as if he was confused and did not realize that his block was the key to that play's success.

he wants jennings to start so he missed the block to hurt harris' stats.

He was going to try to lead him outside then block him there but didn't realize that the CB had already diagnosed the play and was reading Guice. Freshman mistake, nothing to see here.

It doesn't even have to be a great block... just re-direct the guy outside (or in this case, inside) enough that it takes him past Guice.

1.3/10 on the effort scale, which is bullshite because if you've been given the honor of a rare scholarship at an NC-class football power, you owe, if nothing else, 10/10 effort.

If he makes the block Guice is probably gone for a TD.

Sure we can afford mistakes, and we will make plenty.

Obviously a mistake on Guice for not getting wide, or Harris for not throwing wide, or Jazz for blocking wide. Given release of other side, I kinda think Jazz was right and it was a Harris Guice problem

I doubt Jazz will be used for blocking from now on. You'll likely see Dural, Quinn, or DiarseDozer out there.

Confusion from inexperience and youth will create that perception of lack of effort

Why is he even in the game at that moment over the likes of the other guys? I mean I understand getting the freshman in, but on the first possession over some of the older WRs?

All about getting experience I guess. They probably had a heads up about the approaching storm.

I doubt he'll be used much from now on (aside from Eastern Michigan and Syracuse).

With the talent and experience we have ahead of him at WR he probably won't see the field very often the rest of the season.

The Mcneese game would've been good for getting him a little playing experience, but the weather ruined that.
