re: Very frustrating seeing highlights of Anthony Richardson being able to throw on Vols

Lol we threw it 45 times. 200 yards almost and we never really threatened or was in the game. Lmao at bragging about yards. Richardson scrambles and looks down field to pass, Daniels scrambles and looks for a running lane.

Tenn defense didn't improve, they just loaded the box and sold out against the run daring Daniels to beat them with his arm. They assumed correctly...he couldn't.

I look at the lack of scores. They both suck, but damn Daniels is embarrassing

If Tennessee’s defense can improved, why can’t Daniels?
Do you just not get this?

Don't really put the full blame of that on Daniels. The passing/running attack of Daniels is all the offense has. When it's this one dimensional, it's easy to stop.
Jennings had these RBs in that 2014 season:
Fournette-1034 Yards
Magee-571 Yards
Hilliard-447 Yards
Williams-302 Yards
Over 2000 yards from RBs, we might be lucky to get 1000 yards from the RBs at this rate.
The passing offense sucked because Jennings sucked. I feel like if we could get some kind of running game going, it'll help the passing game tremendously.

Running game sucks because there is no respectable passing attack

Then Richardson looked terrible against Mizzou, so who knows
Mizzou would beat us.

We don’t even try to run it vs good teams. 69% of the play calls vs power 5 teams have been a drop back or designed run for Daniels. That number was 84% of Saturday. So the entire offense is called for a player who’s limited and doesn’t produce scores.

Well we threw for 300 last week… 200+ in the first half
300 yds isn’t shite when it took 45 attempts to get it and at least 30 of those were within 5 yards of the LOS

You can have a good running game without a passing attack. Ex: any Les Miles year.
Kind of hard to have a good passing game when they only need 3 on the line and can stop the run.

Should piss you off even more that Anthony Jennings was a better passer than what LSU currently has starting.
Nope. I’m not a Daniels fan, but this is just factually incorrect. The only QB worse than Jennings to start in recent memory was Hatch. Both of them lacked talent and neither had the stats that Daniels is still able to put up despite his obvious limitations.

It touched his hands Was a drop Wasn't even behind him
There were some poor passes, but the one to Jenkins in stride was absolutely a drop. Jenkins’ reaction after said it all.

Too bad you guys haven’t caught up and continue to drive false narratives.
Daniels’ limitations are obvious to anyone looking. That said, you talking shite about pushing narratives is pretty fricking ironic.

If you can’t tell the difference between an opinion with data to back it up and just repeating debunked talking points from year to year in order to protect or deflect for a player/coach that’s on you.

I upvoted for the gif.
