I would have been saying the exact same thing I'm saying now. I might have been the only one saying it, I don't remember the thread, but since I'm not making anything up I don't have to worry about having said something different then vs now.

Verge has to be getting involved, there was some type of breakdown with recruiting at U high

No there wasn't.

I'm more worried about the departure of Dr. Wade Smith from the UHIGH leadership position than anything else. He had the Lab School on a upward trajectory and retired at the end of the fall semester.

ProjectP is spot on. Tim tried to commit to Frank Wilson at LSU- they would not take him. Teams are “offering” 300+ kids at times in a cycle. Do people really think all of those offers are committable? Like it or not, Offers are usually just a way to get in the game with recruits. The only U-High players with committable offers in the last few years were Nick Brossette, Garrett Brumfield, Dylan Moses, and Jaquelin Roy. 3 of those guys committed, and the one that did not (Moses) left U-High for IMG his final year. The idea that U-High players are anti LSU is just wrong.

You're getting yourself confused. We quit recruiting him but we offered him. We quit recruiting him because he told us he was not heading our way. He made it clear from the beginning that he planned on playing out of state.
This is nowhere near the truth. Project is spot on.
