Jefferson vs Georgia Tech
He still wasn't good.
16-25 for 142 yards and 1 TD.
He was actually great in that game as he had a 70 or 80 yard TD pass called back.

You guys act like every program inserts a new great QB every year. Every program has guys flame out.
A lot of them do insert new guys then kill it. Look at Alabama. Michigan state. Florida state. Stanford.
Those are pro style teams that run similar styles to us. They don't have a lot of QB issues. Every program does have someone that flames out. But that's an exception. Here, flaming out is the rule and success is the exception.

Vegas has us with the second best odds to win the sec and sec team to the national title. What's that tell you?
They want to make money
Find me another program that is .500 in their last 8 games that you could convince people to bet money on winning a championship.
LF, recruiting classes, NFL stars... People will buy the hype, and Vegas will gladly sell it.
"Excellent. They loved it, made massive money. The Wisconsin-LSU game, Wisconsin as a double-digit underdog winning outright was what one book called the largest single win off a college football game they have ever had."
"More money was bet on LSU to win the national championship at the Westgate Super Book than on any other team in the offseason"
^ Of course Vegas loves us
Having said all that screw em, Geaux Tigers

It means that nobody is buying into A&M, Ole Miss or Arkansas.
LSU has Leonard Fournette, a salty defense and a night game in Tiger Stadium against 'Bama starting a true freshman QB.
Who has a better shot at unseating 'Bama? Noooobody.

it tells me it's old news. done BEFORE the first snap of the season. garbage.
our reality is lower, possibly much lower. if this team fights all year, Etling is OK and we don't suffer key injuries on either the OL or DL we should at least compete for the SEC west title.
Oh, and I forgot, WE WILL NEED A FEW BREAKS along the way.
